How to get your business on Google Maps (step-by-step)
Most local customers find businesses on Google Maps. Here’s exactly how to get your business listed, verified and showing up, step by step.
Read articleMost new patients find a dentist on Google. Here’s how local SEO works for dental practices, and what helped Ashtead Dental reach the top.
When people need a dentist, they rarely ask around any more. They search “dentist near me” or “dentist in [town]”, look at the map, check reviews, and call. Local SEO is how you make sure that’s your practice.
Choose “Dentist” or “Dental clinic” as your category, list every treatment, add opening hours, photos of the practice and team, and a booking link. This is the single biggest lever for appearing on Google Maps.
Give each key treatment its own page, check-ups, hygiene, implants, Invisalign, whitening, emergency appointments, with your town name, prices or “from” prices, and a clear way to book.
Patients trust other patients. Ask after appointments and reply to every review. (See how to get more Google reviews.)
Most patients search on their phone. Click-to-call, online booking and quick loading turn searches into appointments.
Your practice name, address and phone number should match exactly on your website, Google, NHS listings and directories.
Ashtead Dental started with no brand, no website and no online presence. We built the brand and website, set up their Google Business Profile and social media, and ran SEO. They now rank top for “dentist Ashtead”. Read the case study or see our page for clinics.
