7 reasons your website isn’t bringing in customers

A website can look fine and still quietly lose enquiries every day. Here are seven warning signs, and what to do about each one.

Most business websites don’t fail loudly. They look acceptable, but visitors leave without calling, messaging or filling in a form. These are the most common reasons we see.

1. It’s slow on mobile

If your homepage takes more than a few seconds to load on a phone, many visitors leave before they see your offer. Compress images, remove unused plugins and use good hosting.

2. Visitors can’t tell what you do in five seconds

Your headline should say who you help and what result you deliver, not just your company name.

3. There’s no clear next step

Every page needs one obvious action: book a call, get a quote or message on WhatsApp.

4. Contact options are hidden

Phone number, WhatsApp and a short form should be visible on every page, especially on mobile.

5. No proof

Case studies, results, reviews and client logos give people the confidence to get in touch.

6. Forms ask for too much

Ask only for what you need to reply. You can collect the rest on the first call.

7. You can’t see what’s working

Without analytics and conversion tracking you’re guessing. Track calls, forms and WhatsApp clicks as goals.
